Phyl is a 4 way entry flat pallet made of injection-moulded polypropylene and is specifically designed to  be used to transport cans, bottles and jars in the food industry. However, it can also be used in any  application which demands high-performance packing that is hygienic, oil-resistant, durable and strong.  Highly innovative due to its design, production tecniques, construction materials and its ability to be  cleaned. Phyl is ideal for the daily task of moving storing goods.

1. Design

 

Phyl is a new generation of pallets. It is designed to revolutionise the mechanical and manual movement of goods, and  to improve every step in transport logistics. Its design was developed by computer to meet exact technical and operational  specifications. Its performance is the result of tests that ensure conformance with ISO standards.

 

2. One-piece construction

Thanks to its one-piece construction with no welds or  joints, there are no points where breakage can occur.  Phyl offers the highest levels of sturdiness, hygiene and  resistance to damage when dropped.

 

Phyl easily withstands strong twisting loads (even along  the diagonal axis) as well as compression loads.

 

3. It is hygienic

 

The guiding principle that was followed when designing Phyl was HACCP, and the materials used in its  construction are classified as suitable for contact with foodstuffs.

The pallet is “contamination free” (as per DIN 10503 and EHEDG standards). Phyl is unaffected by mould,  bacteria and fungus. It was designed without areas where water or dirt can accumulate, and it can be  washed and dried. Phyl is not hygroscopic and will not absorb water. Designed with a grill-type structure,  it can be easily washed both manually and by machine.

Extendible films are easy to use for packing:  because the shape of the pallet allows  the film to grasp thebase.

 

This makes the load exceptionally stable.


5. Facilitates warehousing operations

 

The edges on the upper and lower surfaces are specially designed so that the pallets  fit into each other securely when stacked. Also, if a cover sheet is placed on the top  of the pallet, it is grasped and locked into place.

6. Phyl can be recycled

 

The materials used to produce Phyl pallets can be completely recycled when the pallet  has reached the end of its service life.

 

 

 

7. Bar code/RFID

 

Upon request, the pallet can be marked with a bar code, or an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip  can be installed inside, which allows the pallet to be tracked. This technology is revolutionising shipping and  receiving systems by enabling products to be located and tracked efficiently.

 

The RFID chip is a mobile database carrying readable and writeable information regarding the contents of  the pallet.

 

 

 

8. Phyl can be personalized

 

Phyl can be personalised with the customer’s logo together with “property of” wording. The pallet can be  personalised with single-color heat printing or in relief. The standard color for Phyl is a characteristic  blue-gray. Custom colors are available upon request.
